The new entrance / contractors without
experience in any Government Department may be registered in
Class V by the Divisional Engineer in his Division level. |

| 4. PROMOTION OF CONTRACTORS |
|
Private or
Public limited concerns newly registered under class V and
already registered contractors under class V, IV, III and II if
found to have satisfactorily completed at least one work in any
Government / Government undertakings can be considered for
Registration directly in the appropriate class subject to
satisfying solvency certificate, Financial status,
and Income Tax certificate. |

| 6. SOLVENCY REQUIRED |
|
For the registration of contractors a minimum
solvency of 30 % is to be required as against the registration
value of money limit. A minimum solvency of Rs. 10 lakhs is
required for the I class registration. |
