TENDER NOTICE NO.  11/2003/SDO/Dated 26.09.2003

 

          For and on behalf of Governor of Tamilnadu scaled percentage Tenders will be received by the Divisional Engineer (Highways), Ettayapuram Road, Thoothukudi.2 at his office upto 3.00P.M (Office clock) on 22.10.2003 for the following works and the tenders so received will be opened on the same day at 3.15P.M (Office clock) by the Divisional Engineer (Highways) Thoothukudi at his office in the presence of the Tenderers or their authorized agents.

            Prescribed forms of tender documents and drawings shall be purchased on written application upto 17.10.2003 during working days and working hours from the Office of the Divisional Engineer (Highways) Thoothukudi on producing necessary receipted Treasury challan towards the cost of tender schedules and sales tax and surcharge (not refundable) duly remitted in the following head of account within the jurisdiction of the Divisional Engineer (Highways) Thoothukudi.

2. Sales Tax & Surcharge                  : Rs. 378         0040 Sales Tax

 

            Demand Draft drawn in favour of Divisional Engineer (Highways) Thoothukudi from scheduled Bank also will be accepted towards cost of tender documents including sales tax.

            The tender documents will be supplied through Registered post, or courier, to the contractor who makes a request for the same on payment of cost fixed for tender schedule along with postal charges at the risk and responsibility of the contractor.  The Divisional Engineer (Highways) Thoothukudi will not be responsible for any delay in transit in such cases.

 

            The tender documents duly filled in all respects may be sent in person or courier or through registered post or ordinary mail so as to reach the hands of tender inviting authority before 3.00 P.M (Office clock) on  22.10.2003.                     

 

            Tender received after the time set forth will not be entertained and will be returned unopened.

 

            The department does not take any responsibility for the delay caused by the courier or postal authorities or the messenger whom so ever may be appropriate.

 

            The Superintending Engineer (Highways) Tirunelveli circle reserves the right to reject any or all the tenders without assigning any reason.

 

            The acceptance of the tender will be communicated by the Superintending Engineer (Highways) Tirunelveli circle and the tenderer has to execute an agreement with the Superintending Engineer (Highways) Tirunelveli circle duly following the condition of tender and P.S to S.S.R.B and MOST.

 

            The acceptance of the tender by the Superintending Engineer (Highways) will not invalidate any of the terms and conditions of the tender.
